it depends on the person. i hate my curly hair, but it is so unruly and frizzy (think magenta from rocky horror picture show) that i HAVE to put tons of product in it and flat iron it.
i've seen lots of women with very nice curly hair that i've thought was far nicer than straight hair. i even tend to like the "afro-puff" pigtails look on some women.
i don't like long hair on women though. some people look better with it, but i think short hair is way cuter if the person can pull it off.

Everyone loves my hair. It's super straight and super soft. It is long and very fine but very thick. It is also very strong, grows fast, and never gets split ends.
But not all straight hair is created equally. Some people have thin hair and you can easily see the scalp. Or their hair is really thick and coarse.
And I completely disagree with the littlemissunderstood. Yes- you can be attractive without "loads of diets, exercises, shopping trips, makeup experiments, makeup applications, cleansers, moisturizers, and so forth"
You need a healthy diet and exercise to be attractive, but not a variety of attempted ones. It does not take extra efforts to be attractive, people who sell beauty products want you to believe that. Generally, those products make your skin addicted to chemicals and it forgets how to be beautiful all by itself. This feeds the same stereotype that makes women with curly hair feel ugly. (Which I was unaware of)Comment Hidden ( show ) -
So admittedly I have a bit of a bias (I have curly hair that I leave "natural" and by natural I mean I put shitload of product in it and blow dry it with a diffuser) but I think the whole "curly hair is unnattractive" paradigm exists because women who don't straighten their hair are GENERALLY women who are not willing to spend time on their appearance and let's face it, no one wakes up one day suddenly attractive, it takes loads of diets, exercises, shopping trips, makeup experiments, makeup applications, cleansers, moisturizers, and so forth. SO curly haired women do not just have curly hair, they might also have bad skin, bad clothes, bad makeup, whatever and this creates a stereotype.

Well you've swallowed the stereotyped kook aid, haven't you? No one wakes up attractive? Oh sorry, no WOMAN wakes up attractive ........ Bad bad BAD to not put all that time, money & energy into changing what she's born with. I feel so sorry for you.
And you use the word stereotype? You're brainwashed: plenty of men and women find women who don't go to all that expensive & time consuming trouble, attractive just as they are.

I honestly hate long hair on girls, short hair all the way. Because of the 'style' of having long straight hair, usually though damaging straightening irons, people walk around with these boring limp straggles of hair lying down their backs. Cut it all of girls, and relish in the new lustor that is health untreated hair. There is just so much more style in short hair and so much more personality!
