  • My hair is tricolour. In the sunlight its reddish-brown with a few streaks of blonde. The hair on the nape of my neck is blonde.

The normality on hair colour, I guess, would depend on where you live. For instance, in the area where I live I've noticed mostly people with black hair and if I go into areas where its more diverse than the next common colour I'll see is brown. Blonde seems to be fairly uncommon and Redheads are rare. So far, I've probably on met 3 or 4 Redheads that I can remember. Genetics and environment also play a role in hair colour. If I'm remembering correctly, Blonde is recessive and Red hair is a mutation. Environmentally, the sun can change people's hair colours. I knew a boy that was a Redhead and his hair was a fiery red colour. I didn't see him for about one or two years and when I did I found out that the sun had changed his hair. It went from being obviously red to a duller red with hints of brown in it. You'd think that the sun would make red hair brighter not darker, but alas, that is not the case.
