Actually, Mclaren Is the High performance Exotic Division of BMW, created in the early 1990s. One of their earliest creations is the f1, a million dollar supercar (1994 Dollars) with a BMW Motorsports V12.
No it isn't, BMW may have created the engine for the F1 but it in no way means that BMW own Mclaren. Mclaren and mercedes also co-produced the slr which in my eyes is one of the sexiest cars ever created.

Mclaren is a english based compeny. It would be between porshe and mercedes though.

my bad, i just looked on their website. :( On an unrelated note, they now have their own engine for their own car.
