True. If you look at Michaelangelo's David, it is obviously beautiful and male. I can appreciate it.
Where it's difficult for me is to know whether I'm appreciating something out of sexual interest or aesthetic interest, as you say. I'm not confident in my ability to differentiate why I find something attractive. I know what I feel and I know what I think but that's not enough to be confident I am right.
