  • Coke takes self control, if you are the kinda person who can bring, say, $500 to the casino, gamble it away, then walk away having lost it all and say well that was enjoyable, then you should be able to handle coke fine.

    If you are the kinda person who immediately loses the $500, withdraws $1,000 and proceeds to lose that, then still contemplates going back to gamble more then coke is definitely not the drug for you. Impulse control is all it takes.

    I dont wana wear a badge about cocaine use myself but I had great times with it, its certainly a bar/club drug for sure. And any cocaine that makes you all jittery and on edge means you got ripped off. Good coke gives you a fantastic high, total euphoria and total energy. The come down isnt great, but you cant get the high without the low. Drinking alcohol with it helps take the edge off. Just be careful how much you drink or you will never be more hungover then you are the next day.

    • I'm not against the active compound in cocaine, but I would rather see it used traditionally. Coca leaves with a dash of lime, don't think I would be able to keep my self control either if I tried coke; I'm aware of my addictive potential qualities, which is why I've stayed away from it, been offered, but I have never seen once a person just stop after one line. I don't know... I partied long and just had to catch up on the sleep I missed ~4hrs and I was good, my bf and roommate used a day and a half to recover and suffered some bloody noses.

      you say if the coke makes you jittery you were ripped off? Cut with something?

      • Do you understand the example I used with gambling? Some people can take it to a point and then say "enough is enough" sounds like your bf and room mate really cant. If anyone is like this, do not go near coke, it will mess you up. When I did it I limited myself to spending $50-100 a weekend. Which is nothing. Sure at like 2 am I was fiending to get more, which everyone does as you start to chase the high, but I didnt, I just drank some water, read a book, relaxed and went to sleep.

        If it makes you jittery it was probably "stepped on" a bunch of times. Cut with baby laxative, pain killers, who knows what. It should be a euphoric high, taper it with alcohol, total energy, and then as it fades you chase it a little bit, and then you just come down. Water and reading was fantastic for me mostly because the water helped my body process the alcohol as well. Some people like to smoke up as well. I tended to think the water was better then smoking for my body after a night of booze and blow.
