You've tested it but made an incorrect conclusion. What women are attracted to are not assholes but traits that assholes tend to possess that nice guys usually don't, at least until they learn more about women(if the ever do). Women are attracted to confidence, cockiness, and a little bit of arrogance among a few other things. As a former nice guy I picked these things up, all the while not becoming an ass, and now women being interested in me doesn't even surprise me anymore, I just think well of course they are. There are lots of nice guys that are great with women, the ones willing to learn.
