This largely depends on the culture, home situation and the parents in question.
In the UK most homeschooled children are from middle/upper class backgrounds. I have spoken to public school teachers who swear that they can instantly tell which children/teens have been (at least partially) homeschooled as they are usually more emotionally mature and have a more positive attitude towards education than the public school children. However, these kids also find it hard to adjust to being among more 'misbehaved' rebellious peers.
