That's why it's absolutely unnecessary to bring this debate in here when OP is basically just asking for travel advice. For herself, who is a woman. I can't see how you don't understand this. So yes, this is you trying to make this a gender flame war. Just like every other time the word "female" or "male" is mentioned anywhere.
