Didn't add Australia because i don't know a lot about it. I only know aboriginals were the main population before the Dutch discovered it and England claimed it, which was only a few hundred years ago (i did say i would add countries with long history, which would be part of the "old world").
Is it wrong to think Australia does not have an interesting history compared to other countries?
so by "old world" you only mean when humans were around and not actually before people? thats not really "old world"... and how can you say that australia does not have an interesting history when you said you dont know anything about it? again, how about studying up your history first before putting up a post like this.
I know enough about it to not find it interesting enough, and as Joybird said, it's not like i can make a list of 100 countries. I should have added some other countries though like someone else said, like Egypt. (which i forgot)

What do you want them to do? List every country from an atlas? Do you need to be so rude to a first post?
