    Yes the ps2 was more powerful but for its time the ps1 was better, for me anyway.

      The PS2 was actually quite weak technologically compared to it's rivals, especially the Xbox, that console was a real powerhouse in it's day. It was also the first to feature a hard-drive and a truly great online experience.
