    How about DOS or Windows 3.1? Easy to manipulate and change options.

        It's mostly because any OS after vista won't run the sims 2 properly >:(

          Wdym i use Windows 10 and the Sims 2 works perfectly on it, even with the Pets pack on it (the expansion pack that I've installed on it), barely encounter any problems.

        The UI went to shit, it wasn’t intuitive at all imo. I spent weeks teaching ppl how to relearn it.
