Why does that make you an asshole? I care about animals more than humans(not including children) for the simple reason that people who are hurt or abused can seek help/treatment whereas animals are helpless creatures that don't know why they are being hurt nor can they seek help, the only aid they get is if people come to help them.

I'm an asshole and care about animals more than anything. Also kids with cancer. I cry if I ever have to watch the St. Jude's commercials.
