    The little chick that dirtybirdy and NotStrangeBird are going to have together.

    On that subject: is NotStrangeBird a bird who is not strange, or a someone who is neither a bird nor strange? Important questions.

    On the subject of important questions: why do we call them "birds of prey"? We don't call bears or lions "mammals of prey".

    On topic: Sparrowhawks are good. We had one in our garden a week or two ago.

      Why are smaller birds that birds of prey eat not "birds of predation"?

      My favorite bird of prey is in the mirror. *looks at mirror, sees a bird and attacks it*

      I love ospreys. There's a few small lakes nearby and sometimes I get to see one dive in and catch a fish.

        I know, and everyone forgets about them. I mean ospreys have PREY in their name, of course they are the best bird of prey....on earth, in space it have to be the Klingons "Birds of prey"

      Are they really bird of prey? I mean I like Ravens, the sport team Ravens, and "The Raven" by Edger Alan Poe, but I view them as closer to scavengers
