Perhaps. But, what about the lil' carrot patches and the well that you have within your castle walls? Wouldn't dumping hazardous chemicals around the perimeter of your castle poison the ground water and soil? All in all, this doesn't sound like a very healthy environment. Surely someone will get sick and die soon living in your castle.. Negligible as you would have us believe them to be, the fumes coming off the acid would, at a minimum, cause serious lung problems for your castle dwellers in a short span of time.
Sulfuric acid can also damage buildings and historic monuments, especially those made of rocks such as limestone and marble containing large amounts of calcium carbonate. The acid reacts with the calcium compounds in the stones to create gypsum, which then flakes off and weakens the structure.
The effects of this are commonly seen on old gravestones, where acid rain can cause the inscriptions to become completely illegible. Imagine what would happen to your fortress walls over a short period of time with a concentrated amount of sulfuric acid in your moat. Look at you now! Your castle walls have fallen down...now what??

Ah. Interesting plan. Now what about the rogue militias that will try to take over your castle? Some will have incendiary bombs that they will throw into your moat of sulfuric acid. Once they get a glimpse at the majesty of your expensive, hardened glass reinforced castle foundation, they will be certain that the proprietor has spared no expense in stocking his compound with rich and valuable resources... They need them! They won't stop until they take over your castle which means your castle will be under constant siege which means that once you run low on resources (like gasoline, ammo, food, water, and medical supplies) you will have a very difficult time venturing outside of your fortress walls to restock. Once you run out of ammo, the militia will be free to invent devices to demolish and to breach your castle walls without fear of your intervention.
One tactic would be to build trenches and to drain/redirect your moat's poison punch into another large pit. Another tactic would be to bomb your moat's door with a rocket launcher and a battering ram. Another tactic that they might try, which was used in medieval England when hostile forces attempted to overtake The Tower of London, is that they might create a high powered catapult and use it to lob various nasties over your castle wall... Like zombie bodies, infected animals, missiles, and so forth. Some of these militias might even use a helicopter to hover above your castle and pick your castle folk off with various weapons.
