It was cool in America though. What would you say was the best era for the USSR?
Late Lenin (around late 1920’s) before Stalin and the Famine, and the later 70’s before the Chernobyl Disaster.
But I’m incredibly biased because I don’t like Khrushchev.
A lot of ex-USSR people consider the early 60’s to be one of the peaks of the history, while the USSR was setting record after record
