I don't think that's necessarily true. I know lots of beautiful very nice girls, and some VERY nasty "ugly" ones. I think it all comes down to the individual. But someone who's very appearance oriented WOULD notice details about other people's appearances that the rest of us would overlook, and depending on how rotten they happen to be, they'll say something bad about it.
