Not really. We have been in Afganistan for almost 20 years fighting what was only a few hundred thousand taliban with shitty weapons. Also the USA lost vietnam to a tiny POOR country. Also in Afganistan google says in 2001 there was only 41,000 taliban. We are still there to this day fighting them and they didnt have much money!
If Americans decided to overthrow their government it wouldn't be as hard as you would think.
