What to do about the kids? Stupid relatives/kidnappers try to use them as passports. Didn't work, now what?

      I don't know if you're kidding, but tbh, I think the age for children to legally work should be lowered to around 12 at the highest.

      In some cases, preventing children from working hinders them from escaping abusers and supporting themselves when negligent family won't.

      Also, I find it hypocritical that the restrictions with children and regular jobs don't seem to apply to child actors, who still work very hard.

        Reference to parks and recreation. But that being said Some jobs can be diverted to child jobs. Put a hour restriction for 3 hours a day max. Sweeping floors and the like.

    Well, since the kids are essentially victims of their parents' utter foolishness, they don't deserve to be caged or put to work in labour camps. You can't just let them loose or they'll simply die in the streets. Send them back, at least then they'll be in familiar surroundings and can stay with friends or relatives while the parents face the music for being so stupid.

    Send them back, the little kids didn't ask to come here they were drag here by thier parents. They shouldn't have to be punished for something they didn't have a say on. They're innocent and victims of both sides of the scale.

    Let them take them.
    That said.
    You ask a loaded, biased question.

    How would you want your kids treated?
    Think about it.
    These kids didnt choose whos parents they had.

    Give them the option of either being sent back home, or joining labor camps/schools where they can earn their keep and their citizenship after x number of years.

    Caging innocent children forcefully and indefinitely would be both highly unethical and an inefficent use of tax dollars.

    Letting them loose would be a bad idea. Many would be too young to seek common, legal employment, thus leading them to resort to crime on the streets. They'd likely end up destitute nuisances to our society. Bad on both sides.
