I met my boyfriend when I was 14 in HS; he was 17. He tried talking to me three times (with many years in between) before I took the initiative and spoke to him last summer. It has been a year and a half now. I'm 20, and it has been a great adventure. I don't know why I didn't give him a chance before. I'm glad I didn't though because we both had a lot of growing up to do before.
