That is definitely a pet peeve of mine! I refuse to call the USA America.
Well, it is but since you listed the other continents individually I figured you missed the fact that each is their own continent.

Anyway, I'm in Brazil and speak English and Portuguese well; then French, Italian and Spanish well enough to get by and have simple conversations.
I am from the northern United States, very close to the Canadian border. I speak English and French.
From China. My first language is Chinese and English is my second language. I know some basic Spanish too.
Well, I learn some Spanish on Duolingo for fun. I just started learning 3 months ago so I only know the basics. It's fun to learn a new language. :D
I'm considering taking some actual Spanish lessons next year. I'm still in middle school (according to the local educational system) so I'm pretty busy now for the exams that'll come soon & math competitions.

I'm from the US. I only speak English despite the fact that I'm Puerto Rican. I tried learning Spanish a few times, but I can never seem to get the language to sink in. XD

I am from slightly south of the U.S./Canadian border. I speak English and phrase book Spanish.
I'm an American of the Southern variety, and I identify as a Texan. I speak English, but I have studied German, and Spanish. I'm not really good at either language. I probably feel more confident trying to express myself in German, but I think I can probably do better in Spanish if I'm just listening. Sometimes I use a phone application to pray the Holy Rosary in German. I like it when people speak slowly, and clearly.
