When you think "Chinese people", what do you think

  • Many Caucasoid & Other people do not understand that "Chinese" is not a people. The majority of the population in the current People's Republic of China are of the 'Han' tribe, who's ancestry is from predominantly the Yellow and Yangtze River basins. There is, however, a sizable minority of various distinct ethno-linguistic groups within the aforementioned country.
    "China" is a political entity, not a people.
    It would be like calling a person who is an inhabitant of the USA a United States of Americean.
