she's racist in the sense that she doesn't think her husband finds black women attractive. but really what this shows is that she herself does not believe that black women can be attractive. her husband's preferences have nothing to do with her own insecurity. if her husband didn't like asian women but she found some asian women to be good looking, she would still feel threatened by them regardless of what her husband says. so basically the wife is a racist

Racism is related to how one treats people, not what one prefers in sexual relations.
