I used to do vlogs for my friends who went to other schools when we first went to university. It became a sort of running gag for me to bring in some kind of prop and use it without breaking "deadpan". In one video, I started casually applying my grandmother's lipstick, which didn't suit my skin or clothes at all. Then for the rest of the vlog I was pouting while talking casually about my week. I actually DIDN'T like the feeling of it at all. I felt like it was drying my lips out.
I watched my ex put on a makeup a few times. It was certainly interesting to see how she did it and how many steps there were. You have to be pretty artistic. Other than that, I've only worn makeup on Halloween and on stage. And I always hate the feeling. I still look like me, so I don't mind how it looks. I've never gone nuts with it. I've also watched some fantasy and horror makeup tutorials on youtube to inspire my costume for a haunted house I worked at.
When I was in a relationship, I use to watch her put on her makeup.
