I only drink what I enjoy the taste of. There are only a hand full of palatable beers or ales. If offered a Bud, Heineken, Busch or Miller; no thank you.
Pretty much the same thing with liquors. Top shelf only, but not usually the popular "flavor of the month" stuff. Johnny Black or blue (someday, I hope someone loves me enough to give me a bottle of gold), vodka from potatoes only, not grain, and a small label pure Agave Tequila are a pleasure to sip, whereas, once again, no thanks to Johnny red, Cutty Sark, Seagram's 7 or Jim Bean.
Wine is strictly a taste thing; if I like it, I couldn't care less about it's label, but, then again, a nice Chateau Margeaux is one of those wonderful things in life.
When drinking, do you perfer strong or light stuff?
