I drink cider if I'm drinking socially. It tastes nicer, it's cheaper than anything strong and you don't have to worry about getting drunk too quickly. I go for spirits when I'm drinking to get drunk. Anything will go. Rum, gin, amaretto, whisky, vodka, a flavoured liqueur, whatever. I really like the taste of sambuca. I usually drink strong drinks straight, but sometimes with a mixer if it goes really well. I'm building up a collection of spirits so I can have a small drink of anything I want in the evening without going out or drinking to get drunk. I prefer weak drinks taste-wise though, with a handful of exceptions. There's are some very cool pint cocktails you can make that would fall under that category, too.
When drinking, do you perfer strong or light stuff?
