It's being fought right now, but not with guns and bombs; it's being waged in the board rooms of huge conglomerates and banks.
The Roman empire lasted centuries, the British empire lasted hundreds of years but America's heyday has come and gone in only about 70 years. China is up and coming and they are doing it economically.
Especially in the USA, but around the world as well, the powers that be are destroying the middle class, providing a much poorer education for the masses than 50 years ago, breaking the unions and forcing people back to the "company" system (like in the coal mining towns of the early 1900's). They pay you almost enough to survive and to cover the difference between surviving or not you must get it from "the company", in this case the banks in the form of cc debt.
Don't think for one moment that you are not in a struggle for the very existence of a decent way of life and the civil liberties you think you have, right now.
Become aware of what's really going on and if you don't like it, then do something about it (peacefully). Stop watching Fox News and try the BBC.
Unfortunately, we here in the USA have been forced to vote for the lesser of two evils since Kennedy and even our present president, who promised so much, has turned his back on the American people in favor of a system he swore he would not be a part of. What a shame.
