Not really. Whoever has that account has a very realistic grasp on what life actually is. Certainly nothing that can even approach being called "idealistic".
You see when a woman's looks fade (if she even had them to begin with) male attention will fade with it. In the really real world this is how it works. And time is against women in this regard.
In the imaginary world a.k.a. the Internet (where you spend most of your time) this doesn't happen I guess. And ugly girls aren't really ugly because they're pretty on the inside and guys see that? And guys and girls are friends without sexual tension, etc...
And whatever other stupid delusions you've convinced yourself are true.
From the excessive number of sock puppet accounts you spend your time creating on here, your claim that I spend too much time online is endlessly amusing in its blatant hypocrisy.
I'm sorry you have such a sad view of the world. Maybe you should try to surround yourself with decent human beings. You'd be surprised.
Are you really sorry Mel? Or are you just typing that because it maybe sounded like a good insult by projecting a "sad view of the world" onto that comment?
Some people live in reality and some people don't. Simple as that. You see reality is very harsh and most people can't handle how harsh it really is, so they convince themselves that it really isn't "all that bad" and surround themselves in delusions.
Those "good people" you surround yourself with are only as good as society forces them to be.
I hope it gives her a sense of urgency, because 30 is late to start a family. She's got five years.
I know it sounds negative, but at the base of all relationships between men and women, beyond the romance, is a simple exchange. Woman gives sex for the man's commitment. If both are giving eachother this, you'll have a happy couple.
But I don't want to start a family. My husband is the best family I've ever had. We give each other much more than just sex and commitment. I'm 32 so I guess I only have 3 years by your standards, and I will spend them with no morning sickness, bloating, weight gain, abdominal pain, breast pain, back pain, labor pain, vaginal tearing, vaginal prolapse, split nipples, lack of sleep, post partum depression, insomnia, hormonal changes, mood swings, lack of energy, financial issues, worry or anxiety, loud noises and many more lovely things that come with a "bundle of joy."
That's a good list, and especially on an economic level, having kids doesn't make much sense. But lonliness isn't that logical. Just be aware that you will need something more than your current love for your husband to get you that daily fulfillment 10 years from now. If you're really focused on your career, that's great.
It's hard starting a business or trying to make it as a painter or novelist. Far easier and popular to make kids instead!
When do you know for sure that you don't want kids?

But you already knew this.
