The grand majority is going to be 17 and 18, maybe 19. Because we are normal people, as in just average intelligence that got us through school. Those who graduated at 16 probably wont be on here as they have gone to university or are doing something way more important that IIN. Those who got GED have realized what boon it is to be certifiably educated.
I got my GED at 18 or something like that. I left due to constantly getting in trouble. Took me 4 months to find out why I was getting sent to the principles office cause everytime I asked why I was talking back. I was sent there for disturbing the class by silently reading a book after turning in the days assignment. Yup. Found out they were also trying to convince my mom to send me to a camp for bad children. I had enough so I left.
I regret that one. I wish I stuck it out. At the very least for the memories. Maybe would if had the chance to grow up as a girl at least for a little bit rather then entering ths adult world so young having to figure things out from there. Had a more normal childhood would of been really nice
I can relate to that a bit. I’ll be turning 19 this year and my parents made me drop out after the 8th grade. I too feel like I missed out on a lot of memories, especially seeing my siblings now fresh into high school and having a great time. I was doing really well in school too, and I feel like I missed out on a lot of potential opportunities. I was looking forward to high school. Instead my parents had me at home taking care of most of their responsibilities which made my childhood feel a bit cut short, not to mention the years prior sort of stunk too because my parents argued constantly and I was always in fear of my father for a number of reasons. I wish I had the chance to experience the carefree childhood everyone talks so fondly about and had made a few friends. I might be going back this year, though, only for senior year (I might have something worked out with a high school here). I’ll graduate a year late and I’ll be a little bit older that the rest of everybody (there are a couple of other kids that'll turn 19 but are 5-6 months ish younger than me), but maybe I can make up for lost time? I’d prefer a diploma anyway, I have relatives that took the GED path and never got anywhere with it. I’d like to go places if I can.
For me it was 18. Tho most people would probably say 18 and maybe 19.
Never met one of those geniuses with an undying passion for learning that graduated early. Then again, I'm a carguy and not a egghead to be able to mingle with other geniuses XD
i were already accepted to [redacted] in my senior yeara high school so i suddenly became a real handful and stopped doin mosta my schoolwork unless it were absolutely necessary to graduate
i got sent to detention the last daya high school and never went
never heard nothin about it either
only an 18 year old could be such a lil shit
to all those that are unhappy for graduating late,it doesnt matter when you graduated trust me,the moment you are done graduating the only difference boils down to how much money you make XD and not how early you graduated
I graduated at 17. I had a sister who graduated at 16 because she was double promoted and a brother who dropped out when he found out he was going to flunk for a third time.
My birthday was in August, I graduated in May. I was 17 years old. I didn't attend the ceremony and didn't bother picking up my diploma until July when I started applying for jobs.
18 as normal. But as for when I finally got my undergrad.. that was 7 years later.
20 I got my diploma it's complicated I should have graduated in 2012 but due to mental health problems I wasn't able to finish on time.
