In the beginning, it was all new and genuine. Now seeing the x-hundreth time the SAME question was accepted through moderation, it kind of gets boring a bit.
I tried once or twice with what i considered genuine polls/questions, and tended to get them rejected, and didn't have the motivation to even re-attempt...
(dappled, if you are reading this, feel free to try re-submitting the one we talked about...)
also, i tended to write long answers, often...or go into detail. Finding that i had no replys(neither from author nor from others and no thumbs up(or thumbs down for that matter) kind of made me think that maybe i was writing too much and people just skipped over the post, anyway. Which also kind of takes from the motivation...so ya, i'm here, but not as much as i used to be in the beginning...
Just read this. I'll post it if you want but I'm not sure I could do it as much justice as you did. I'm serious. I liked your version above anything I could do. I could re-submit it from memory and it'd probably be pretty accurate because I do remember it quite well. But it's your story and I wanted it to get through on your behalf. I'm still disappointed it didn't.
If you want me to, though, I will. Just say the word and I'll do it. :)

Yeah. About once a week, I post four stories back to back. My posting day was yesterday. Two approved, two not approved. To be honest, either they should all have been approved or should all have been denied, seeing as they were in the same vein and clearly all jokes.
And then there's the story of yours which I think is perfectly valid. I want to see it get through and I think it would be one of those that gets a hundred responses within 24 hours as people will want to comment on it. How would you feel if we leave it for a week and then, next weekend, I try posting it word-for-word as myself? If that still doesn't get through, I'll write it myself in my own words and see how that fares.
I really want to see it get through and, like I said in another post, I can be very determined when I care about something.

I quite enjoy your comments on here very much as well, although it seems that I hear from you more recently than I have before.

I've grabbed it and emailed the text of it and the answers to myself. One way or the other, this is getting through.
