A man is not responsible for a woman's orgasm. She is! I have never understood why a woman would fake it. I expect to have as many orgasms as possible during sex so why the hell would I fake ONE? What does telling a "white lie" achieve? If a man has no idea how to help bring me to orgasm, how is it compassionate to tell him he did? It's a waste of time! If a guy has to ask, the answer is no.

When and why do Girls fake it? Whenever they feel like doing so and there is nothing you can do about it.
The only way be to be certain the she is not faking it is to give her an orgasm before you even start trying to pleasure yourself!

Could be boredom. Seriously, she may just not be "into it" at that time and figures faking an orgasm is a good way to signal the "finish" of the session. It's not just women BTW, I've "faked it" before to end the encounter in a way that doesn't make the woman feel inadequate.
Alternately, she may be doing it to "make you feel good about yourself" in spite of your "Lack of skill" (or lack of knowledge about exactly what "works best" with her). Mixed in with this could be that she is feeling a sense of personal "inadequacy" because she DIDN'T have an orgasm (sometimes the case with younger women in particular - you know, the "Something is wrong with me because I didn't have an earth-shattering orgasm from cock alone" crowd).
If you suspect your partner is faking it, I suggest you GENTLY confront her about it, and find out why. A little communication now can save a lot of problems and dissatisfaction later - and will probably improve the quality of sex for both of you as well!
Also, remember that sex can be quite enjoyable even if one or both of you don't have an orgasm every time.

Well, there are 2 ways.
1). Wear a condom. Fake the orgasm, whip off the condom, wrap it up in tissues and throw it out before she notices. I've never actually had a woman want to examine the condom after it's been used anyway.
2). Possibly as a result of my vasectomy and age, and particularly after I get that first one out of the way, I don't actually cum a lot in volume so there isn't a huge amount of "evidence". If I time my "fake" orgasm to align with a woman's "real" orgasm, she is too preoccupied with her own thing to notice. I also keep some soft towels next to the bed in any case, so I can be a "nice guy" and gently clean up the "mess".
