I don't know how to describe it but old wooden basements/closets/garages seem to have a similar smell that is very nice! Out of your list gas, weed, money, and incense. Also strawberry vape (when soaked into a room), and crude oil.
Cake, bread, brownies, and cookies baking are my favorite. I remember back when the Entennman's factory near my town was still there, the sweet smell of cake being made filled the air.
My second favorite scent would be the smell of chicken or beef frying.
I believe that smell, being the most powerful sense, is versatile. Your favorite smell may not be your friends because it does not evoke in them the same feelings it evokes in you. While not my favorite smell homemade Mac and cheese reminds me of my childhood and a time when a dysfunctional family was functional for a small piece of time,,,,
Lemons, vanilla, other fruity smells, that smell that the bakery next to my elementary school created (It would alternate between chocolate and strawberries), the flowers in my mom's garden... So many wonderful smells!
Libraries, the ocean, the smell of the refinery on a significant other in his work clothes, fresh linens and towels, new car, newborn babies, coconut verbana lime (calgon), indica, barbecue.
I simply like the smell of comfort, for me that smell is the familiar as with many, and that of which is most familiar is one I have imprinted on. Thus pussy is the answer I chose.
None of the above, I like the smell of petrol stations and chip shops :)
The smell of fresh rain. Freshly baked cookies or pastry goods. Dank chronic weed. The smell of a hot sexy woman's ass and pussy. The smell of incenses, some scented candles.
Freshly ground coffee that is brewing.
Freshly baked bread.
And smell of onions that are frying on a BBQ. Yum.
Coal tar soap and creosoted fences. And (from back in the day) a newly unwrapped cassette tape.
The smell of success.
That new book smell.
A fresh mint leaf that you roll fine in your hand.
When you open that tin of coffee for the first time.
Fall leaves. Not the person. I'm sure she smells nice too.
A pomegranate as soon as you rip it open. Strawberries, blackberries, frying of sliced onions. A very windy day? I've noticed a very familiar subtle scent to it.
Plus tons of peculiar smells for nostalgic reasons
All the outdoor smells of spring and summer. The smell of ozone after a storm, the smells of the woods, etc.
Le male by Jean Paul gaultier, admittedly it's over-used but I love it
For something that's not a fragrance it'd be the smell of fresh coffee
