I would say just ignore them. I had a father who was like this and use to be extremely racist to black people. I am not black and have no black friends but I was irritated.I asked him to stop because it was offensive and I had enough. He said "You and your brother are a bitch just like your mother".
He also did this when my mother ended up leaving him and when I did not join him he got upset. When I defended my mother he kicked me out of the house. The reward for my good deed.
So I would say ignore it as best you can. It only gets worse if you try to interfere. I know because I tried this kind of thing before. They do not change and they are not going to. When you go against an butthole you are going to have a shitty time. So close the door and walk away so you wont have to smell it.
I find racism, sexism, and prejudice, of any kind irritating. I have also been a victim of prejudice myself so I do not judge people by such petty things. Yes the occasional racist joke once is awhile is haha ok. It is annoying when it is constant, vulgar and extreme though.
