  • I should have said "Christendom". "Christianity" is the way of enlightenment founded by Jesus Christ, the son of God. "Christendom" is an umbrella term to refer to all religions claiming to be Christian, most of the heavily corrupted (watch for my story), as the Apostle Paul predicted. (2Timothy 4:3,4)

I'll admit you're right about the child molestation. That isn't even what bothers me the most. It is the veneration of violence among the Romans that fills me with repulsion, though I suppose even that is not totally unique to them. I still think it would be cool to be a Visigoth, though.

    • It's better to be violent and create peace then to be loving and breed war.

It's funny that you mention Catholicism. What should be done? If an idea destroys should it be destroyed? Should the priesthood be arrested? The cathedrals boarded up? What about Muslims, Atheists, New Age Intellectuals and Fascists? Racists, Hindus, Socialists and Buddhists? Should society forbid these ideas as well?

The world suffers because we've allowed everyone to go off into their own little corner and believe as they like but it won't be until we're all on the same wavelength that there exists peace among us.

But even then being on the same wavelength doesn't guarantee anything; it must be the right frequency or else the effort is doomed as it was for the USSR when they united under Communism.

I couldn't agree more, and I respect anyone who isn't afraid to say that.

And I did not mention Catholicism. It's funny YOU mention that (I certainly was referring to it though). For the record, I do not think that any belief system should be legally suppressed; my own religious beliefs have undergone this enough.
