2001 and 2008 were very painful yet memorable years for me. I try to see that sort of stuff as a learning experience. I went through that stuff five and thirteen years ago and I'm still learning from it all.
Every action has a consequence, and some are severe. Not everyone has the strength to recover from it, let alone learn from it. I really admire your inner strength as much as I admire you for the wonderful person you are.
