What was the most significant decade of American film and why?

  • The Lost Boys came out in the 1980s....but Interview With A Vampire and John Carpenter's Vampires both came out in the 90s.....it's hard to chose. Of coarse, I'm just talking about the vampire movies that were the best of all time and not the film industry in general, which is what this question is about. I'll say the 90s had some very good movies. By the way, those were the real vampires.
