Question: How does one exercise while sick? When I'm sick and constantly coughing and hacking up phlegm, I cant breathe right, I get dizzy, and have to stop.

Great question! For once I feel qualified to answer as a PT and lifting enthusiast!
The answer is, it depends on the illness. If its a common cold or a headache, working out is usually fine and it can even help a headache. For a cough or ant other respiratory ailment, working out us not recommended because the heavier breathing will aggravate your symptoms. Also it depends on what type of working out we are talking about. Is it a light jog, or is it lifting 400 plus pounds on squats and deadlifts till your seeing stars and feel like puking? The more intense the workout is on the muscular system and or respiratory stystem, the more likley it is to interfere with the immune system and your bodies ability to fight illness. Hey, i just wanna tell you. That person on that other post that's telling you that all men cheat and that more and more women are turning lesbian because of it is full of shit. She's a single lesbian person who blames straight men as the reason she's single. She has extremist views and on a few of her other accounts has bashed blacks and Indians. Basically if you're not a white woman, you're trash to her.
Whenever someone wants to discriminate against the LGBT community, they use extremist gays like her as examples. The last thing an LGBT person like myself needs is people like her mucking shit up. Please disregard everything she says. All men aren't bad and all LGBT people aren't like her.
