    I think I'm a few years older than you but I also grew up having to call house phones to find friends.

    I remember in school on a Friday afternoon you would make plans with friends- we'll meet at 10am at the bus stop. See you tomorrow!

    If you got to the bus stop at 10am and they weren't there... you just had to go home lol. Or find a payphone and call their mum to ask if they had left yet. Your have no idea why they didn't show up until you next heard from them.

      I get so happy when I see a pay phone. Theres still a payphone in my town.
