  • In the interest of community support, you, Ruth, could become an amateur psychologist. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) can be learned in 15 to 20 hours of study, and helps the widest range of people. You can practice it right here at IIN. Harder cases like Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), Bipolar conditions, etc are best left to the professionals.

    • Thanks, McBean! I've had CBT myself, so learning it from a practitioner's perspective might not be too hard...

      • https://www.thegreatcourses.co.uk/ Their class is comprehensive as well as undemanding. Sip a port, and put your feet up. Click pause to write down a point to pursue later.

Otherwise, there's amazon.co.uk Btw, you're making me feel encouraged. Fine minds like yours kind of purr when they're revving on something good.
