    Gravitating? Anything would be better than being forced into an abortion or into giving up the child. People like you who suggest adoption as if it's a happily ever after solution are ignorant and arrogant

      You caught me. I misspelled a word.
      So you think it's best that this child, who is so irresponsible and stupid as to get pregnant at 15, raise the baby and is going to be a good and able parent?
      You imagine she's going to be able to support herself and this child without government assistance, huh?
      What a wonderful imaginary world you live in.

        It's possible and you don't know her any more than I do. Why wouldn't she have government assistance? Australia has had benefits for single parents since the 70's: don't you have them in the US?

          Why should she even need it? She shouldn't have gotten pregnant at 15. Where was her mom then? That she did could have been remedied by an abortion. It's not that this is some kind of love child with two loving parents, is it?
          Society should not have to bear the responsibility or expense of raising this child's child.

            She would need benefits to support herself and her baby: are you suggesting a young mother and her baby should starve? These are human beings we're talking about, one very young and the other newborn. Any civilized society supports its most vulnerable members

              Yes absolutely, let them starve. That's surely the correct punishment for getting pregnant at 15. You've got it now. Hell, while we're at it why not kill he mom too. She's a terrible mother. She couldn't even teach her child chastity and to behave with decency.
              Or the stupid child could have the baby adopted and none of it would be a necessity. The baby would have a loving, financially stable home, the child (16 year old) would have a chance at a decent life without needing government assistance, the OP probably wouldn't be contemplating leaving and all would be right with the world.
              How is any of that not good? Even the abortion, when the alternative is so pathetic?
