I really don't get this question. Why does it matter what other women are around him? If he's interested in you, he might as well be surrounded by old men and cattle for all the attention they'll get from him. You'll only know that he's interested in you, though, if you go for it.
Love isn't a zero-sum game, by the way, and it isn't a competition. Well, okay, it's kind of a competition, but everyone has their own unique internal set of rules that are always changing. Just because you think some of these other women around him are gorgeous doesn't mean they're his type. Maybe you're exactly his type. Maybe he isn't superficial and doesn't really have a set type but goes for personality and sense of humor. Maybe he's already dated some of them and doesn't want to go back there.
