I agree..I didn't get most of that..Sounds to me like either this friendship was never really what you thought it was, or, it's just running it's course. I have a now-former business associate/partner, who I was very close with. She and I did everything together, and most of our business group thought we were a couple. Hell, we wrote a lot of business just because of how we related, like a couple or husband and wife, with clients.
We were very close, but, I also sensed an undertone of "this won't last". Just two different people, different beliefs (for example, she was a huge conspiracy theorist..everything was a conspiracy..the moon landing, 911, Indians, etc) and did show her lack of education often, and, while looked great together, including winning a "best-looking team" at a higher-end gathering one night, both had the feeling we could do better.
Some things just run their course, and that's it. I do miss her from time to time, however, also think about the trying, frustrating times with her where my brain said "She's not for you"..
What should I do about my woman friend?
