    What exactly did they say when you told them the situation?

      I didn't end up saying everything I was thinking..

      Me: There is a possibility I could test positive for marijuana but I should be completely clean in a couple of weeks.

      Them: we don't really have time to wait. Are you a heavy smoker?

      Me: No

      Them: And you're in the process of detoxing?

      Me: yes

      Them: Go ahead and take the test and if it comes back negative we'll try again after 30 days.

      Note that I happened to apply at the right time, they were looking to replace a worker who was leaving asap. I also prayed a lot that this would all work out (just in case you believe in the power of prayer).

      Next time I'm just going to get clean before I apply anywhere because that was stressful af at some points.
