Now remember the quote "If any one destroys God's temple, God will destroy him. For God's temple is holy, and that temple you are." (1 Cor 3:17)" ?
Well I like to view things like the Crusades as a necessary evil. Sure there may be a little needless slaughter here and there but in the grand scheme of things the word of God must prevail by any means necessary. I'm sure we ALL know that those who oppose God have much to fear in the afterlife. I've even seen those who adamantly protest God pray to him in their darkest hour. In short humanity needs God no matter how much they try to reject him.
It is for this reason that the word of God must be obeyed and those that seek his destruction will be removed by his will.
