What's your opinion on the meaning of weirdness?

Existentialism is a strange "philosophy" (they forced me to write this normal), yet weirdos and normalos love it (we all love hate). I prefer my social life to tell the truth, trying these "Mauritanianly" interesting foods, totally cool with vegan/vegetarian. What is normal anyway? Are you sick of being normal?

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

  • please don't say I just pressed enter and posted to soon like a right knob-head....

Anychair: I'm dubbed "the weird one" in my group of friends and I enjoy it. It means I can go around saying Wort Wort Wort a la "the Arbiter" and my friends don't even flinch. They are used to my randomness by now xD

  • This is normal so I'm alluding to the facts that weirdness misses the truth in all this.

  • A bit more than 6 thoughts of the day: the facts of the century. 1. knowingness, look inside, you'll know. 2. Poison of the heart, rationality is more risky than wisdom. 3. The world's an illusion: the air isn't moving and water doesn't move in a shower nor is a picture moving on a TV screen, nor is anyone misbehaving when most people think they are, it's all in your minds. 4. Physics/natural science: no excuses, even use it for subjective truths such as God, if you dare. 5. What I call subjective truths/religious truth is a. subjective truths is simply the world as we all know, and b. religious truth is merely the truth of how religion works, it doesn't make religion true. b2. a rational philosophy must be selected carefully; just because it's rational it doesn't mean true, rational people make mistakes. 6. Once again, no excuses: a. be wise (simply follow definition of wise in the dictionary and make it genuine wisdom according to 'genuine' in the dictionary). b. be rational (make it match the dictionary and once again the definition of 'genuine'). c. be knowing: not simplistic this is a computer because it's not something else: the ultimate reality, when you see something you don't just see it, but you see its representation and symbols, no excuses. d. take it easy whether you enjoy something or not, be happy whether you like it or not, no excuses. e. be a genius, no excuses. f. be amoral, no excuses: you can't do what you want, but you're not too nice nor too mean if you don't try, stop trying to be good, this is an inward practice. g. trust soothsayers, no excuses.

  • I agree, I confess that all the stuff on this website is silly. However I changed my mind: just 'cause one is similar it doesn't make it wrong. I am individual, but only because I'm original, weird doesn't come into it. There are 6 thoughts of the day to share: you understand normal through being weird, then acting normal, Descartes is the climax of rationality, the book "Of The Abuse Of Words" by John Locke (political philosopher) is rational enough, agnostic philosophy is friendly to religious people, subjectivity is fair and has more freedom of reality (objective or imaginary), and I know that all you people like me (you don't dislike me).

  • People say I'm weird but I don't think I am.

    This is a silly poll

  • Normal? Isn't that a disease of people who are jealous of weird people?

    Comment Hidden ( show )
  • Normal for me is what is generally accepted/done in society.

  • Rebelling against human nature is what constitutes "weirdness".

  • Everyone is weird,if your weird your weird , and if your normal your weird.
But ,Some people consider some people as a good weird , and others as normal weird.
That's why we only hang out with a few people :)

    My opinion though.

  • Yet the "purpose" in everyone's life is to get individual dignity and freedom of choice while especially accepting things the way they are, I made a mistake in my bookmark saying this means to do whatever you feel like in any circumstance, of course we would naturally think that.
