Proud boomer. I worked for 54 years, raised a family, bought a house and built another at the beach. Now I’m loving retirement.

Millennials who disdain 2010+ mainstream music would dominate in my opinion.

    I don't understand the Gen Y/Millennial difference

I know this inst super accurate as there are actual cutoff dates for statistical data and such, but my opinion is that
Millennials had a childhood growing up with the birth of the internet and tech booming in general. Gen Zer's grew up already having the internet and smartphones/ smart homes at their fingertips.

What's after gen Z? Cause I'm ready to shove the teen progressives into the next generations problems.

I think the problem is that the older gen z is in their twenties and we lived through Obama's problems. We started our adult life under trump and all things concidered it was good. Now the younger gen Z is filled with progressives and are being kept in online school bubbles not even participating in the larger world. Theres a clear seperator between the gen Z generation.

Millennial/Gen Y. Aren't those the same thing though?

And then millennial overlap with Gen Z, this is a mess.

I was born in 96 so I’ll chose millennial on account of Gen Z’s hideous fashion sense. With overly baggy clothes and an encore for the “curtains” haircut I can already feel their future selves looking back and cringing. At least the “foundation 3 shades darker than the skin” trend seems to have fizzled out... for now.

This! I remember girls in the early 2000s wearing tight, low-rise jeans. They were H-O-T, hot! Then there was the mom-jeans craze and now you see young women wearing (basically) oversized garbage bags with cartoon and anime characters on them.

Early 2000s fashion gets a lot of bad rep nowadays, but I personally find the female fashion from that period a lot sexier than today.
