What's your favourite planet?

What's your favourite planet? They're many Planets in our universe, some are dwarf planets and some are terrestrial. The list goes on! Which makes me wonder, if you could live on your favourite planet, would you or would you go live elsewhere? What is it about that specific planet that makes you love it so much?

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

  • Earth is treating me pretty well at the minute....

  • Fly me to the moon, let me play amongst the stars. Let me see what spring is like on, Jupiter and Mars. In other words, hold my hand. In other words, baby kiss me.

  • Saturn for Sailor Saturn.

Otherwise i would have choosen Pluto. Little guy needs some support.

As for the other options, i would have loved Counter-Earth...and choosen it in an instant :)

  • Jupiter. I did a report on it in 6th grade and it really fascinated me. LOVE YOU JUPITER!!! YOU'LL BE MY BIGGEST FAN!!!! :p

  • I've got a bit of a soft spot for Jupiter, it's the biggest planet in the solar system Did you know that if Jupiter were hollow over 1000 earths would fit in it. A day on Jupiter only lasts 10 hours so before earth has even done 1 day Jupiter has done 2 days and 4 hours. I found space really fasinating. xx

  • Earth, because I really have nothing else to compare it to. I have always had an interest in Mars (I think humans will live there one day) and Saturn (because it's a beautiful ball of gas). Jupiter's moons (particularly Europa) are actually quite impressive.

  • Well you have nibiru up there so i will say krypton.

  • Jupiter or Saturn. Imagine living on a planet with hundreds of moons.

I shall now sit back and wait for someone to tell me that they both have less than a hundred moons. I'd also advise people to be wary of the very obvious trap. ;)

  • Jupiter.
I can hear it on my radio.
No seriously, on a good enough night, if you tune in to a certain AM frequency (I can't tell which for my car sucks so just google it) you can hear Jupiter's magnetic field.

  • I think the solar system is just fasinating... so all of them. I love environmental science in general though.

    • I love them too, but surely you wouldn't want to visit Venus? The atmosphere is so dangerous, that I think the probe taking the pictures ended up crashing. They say that no one can survive on Venus, even with a space suit on:(

      • I did realize they were asking what planet I would live on until just now. I only read the title. :\ But yeah... well I would live on Venus if I want to kill myself then. ha

      • You wouldn't survive on Earth for even a few microseconds, even if you had a space suit on, if you were at the bottom of the Marianas Trench, let's say.

  • I love uranus.

  • I find gas planets interesting. Like Saturnus, which partly consist of hydrogen and helium.

    • I've often wondered what would happen if you dropped something solid in them, would the object come out on the other side?

Neptune atmosphere rains diamonds everyday only for them to fall into a boiling ocean of methane and plummet to the planets core:)

      • They most likely have a solid core, since there must be something keeping all the liquid and gas together.

It would be quite hilarious if in the future NASA (or something similar) made a very advanced and expensive rocket able to travel to Saturnus, and then just crash the rocket into the planet. :D

"Oh well, it was worth a try."
