I don't understand why confidence is everything...I know having confidence is a good quality to have especially for your self esteem.

I just don't get why it's looked down upon when it comes to dating?

I'm bi and personally I think it's adorable if a guy or girl acts or is shy, not painfully shy though.

I think a touch of shyness is endearing. It shows ones vulnerability and people like this tend to be less cocky and arogant than ones with extreme confidence

    I've been really shy my whole life and I sometimes hate it because when a guy shows interest in me I clam up and head for the nearest exit. I've avoided chances at relationships because of my damn shyness and it's something I really hate about myself. It's a horrible feeling I wish I didn't have :(
