At least when you embarrass yourself you are trying compared to not even attempting in the first place. You're new! So what if the new guy looks a little out of place and needs some guidance, how do you think other people felt when they started and had to go through the same thing you're going through. Just hold yourself together and get your work done.
Gah I guess I just have to take a really deep breath and like you said hold myself together and get it done even if I do something stupid. Cause I def dont want to look lazy and bored when really I want this but i also def dont want to embarrass myself and feel depressed for a while.

Yeah, just think of how this situation will actually benefit you in the future. I think most people go through this type of ordeal at some point in their life so don't feel ashamed of a little embarrassment since somebody else probably went through something worse.
What's worse? Looking lazy or embarrassing?
