I've had to give lots of injections, to both people and animals. It never really got any easier to do, even after the hundreth and even thousandth time! Especially with the animals, they'd be all fidgety, flex their muscles, and cause the needle to bend, or sometimes you'd hit a vein by accident and blood comes spurting out...it's not fun.
I had to inject medicine (I think it was an anticoagulant) into my husband after he had surgery. The shots had to go into the belly button area. It was gross.
