I read a post recently where one of the regulars said she had been kidnapped as a teen. I just wondered if other people had experienced awful events in their lives.

Is it normal to have major traumatic experiences?

    as if most people are going to tell you tehir worst experience, only those that want sympathy will...

    but something that did traumatize me was yesterday when i went to youtube and found out what a valley girl really was! :(

        LOL.
        I've been held up at gunpoint during this one person shot dead in front of me. I'd still rather go through that again rather than divorce. Divorce never gets better...

    I had the snot beat out of me by four men on a secluded back road for being of a different race than them. I was 12.

    Someone close to me was murdered by a police officer, and he got away with it.

    And...ummm....oh yeah

    Every day, I am tantalized with things that I must have, but cannot have. I am traumatized every day.
